It is with heavy heart that we must announce the death of one of our own, Darkwolf.

Darkwolf, aka "DW" or John, was well loved by his guild-friends and in-guild RL friends. We rallied around to entertain him while he was in the hospital - Entertain DW while he is recovering. We shared pieces of our lives, ancedotes, and current events to help keep his mind off his current situation.

His passing is a great tragedy, as he was young and leaves behind his wife, son, and an infant on the way.

It's official! On September 13th, 2008, Redemption's main raid downs Illidan Stormrage and is now 9/9 BT!

Grats to all the people who received loot:

Website News: Web Host Changed

I've just moved the web site to a new hosting provider. Note that the URL is slightly different for now, but it'll return to normal once the DNS change propagates. Please let me know right away if anything is broken, so I can fix it ASAP.

UPDATE 08-02-2008! The domain has been transferred and all traces of the temporary URL have been removed from the site. It should be back normal.

Downed Bosses: More progression

Downed Bosses

A quick update on our progression: Redemption is now 5/5 in MH and 7/9 in BT. Our newly dubbed "Nightshift" raid is now working on Hyjal and BT too! We're 4/5 in Hyjal and 1/9 in BT. Granted, Nightshift's only spent one night in BT so far.

As usual, we are still looking to increase our ranks with dedicated raiders. Our main focus is Hyjal and BT. Raid 1 raids at 6:30 PM and Nightshift raids at 12AM. All times are server time (Pacific Time).

Several groups continue to run Karazhan for badges. Apart from Judaris' Tuesday midnight Karazhan badge run, all other Karazhan runs usually end up being guild PUGs.

We are still currently seeking Warlocks and Priests, but any class may apply. Apply here on the site in the recruitment forums, and we'll get back to you.

I removed that crappy flash app at the top right part of the site, as it breaks the layout in Firefox 3. Besides, it seemed totally useless. I, for one, never used it. If you really really liked it, let me know, and I'll see what I can do about putting it back.

Downed Bosses

Seeing that people stopped posting forum posts of downed bosses, and that the news page had gotten a bit stale, I decided it was time to update the news page with our progress. Redemption is now 4/5 in MH and 4/9 in BT. As always, we are still looking to increase our ranks with dedicated raiders. Our main focus is MH and BT, which we raid at 6:30 PM server time (Pacific Time), but several groups continue to run Karakhan for badges, and we have a Friday and Saturday night midnight Mag/Gruul/Tk run.

We are currently seeking Warlocks and Shadow Priests, but any class may apply. Apply here on the site in the recruitment forums, and we'll get back to you.

The downing of Leotheras the Blind marks the 5th SSC boss down for Redemption. It took a few pulls to get the fight down, but in the end, we were victorious:

Now that Haam has his resist set, Redemption takes a stab at Hydross The Unstable and downs him on the first attempt!
